How to Install Custom Recovery in Samsung Galaxy GT-I9100T 4.1.2

To install Custom Recovery on your Samsung Galaxy GT-I9100T 4.1.2 follow this simple steps.


  1. Download Odin from the link Odin , unzip if it is in zip file. 
  2. Download the Custom recovery from this link a) Recovery 
  3. Open the Odin from your windows as by right-clicking on it as run-as-administrator.
  4. Click on pda and select the file you downloaded in step 2). 
  5. Switch off your phone. 
  6. Now Press volumeDown+HomeButton+PowerButton all together, when you see a Samsung logo just back your hands and wait for warning message to appear on screen ,than just press volumeUp button. and now your phone is in Download Mode. 
  7. Attach the usb cable and see the applicaiotn Odin it will show some blue icon showing text like ID:COM similar to this. it means your phone is connected. If not than download kies or search for samsung usb driver file and install one of them as it will install all drivers for your device Link to download Samsung Usb Drivers.
  8. Just hit the start button and wait for your phone to complete the process and reboot.
  9. All happens as i said you have now install Custom recovery and now you can install custom ROM for your device.
  10. For installing CM11 your device you have to install to CWM recovery >= 6.0.5 , herer is the link CWM . just download the file it's in zip format put in your External-sdCard or internal memory than go in recovery mode and flash the file. After that you can flash CM11.

How to Root Samsung GT-I9100T 4.1.2 StockRom

  1. To root your Samsung galaxy s2 GT-I9100T. 
  2. Copy this file SuperUser in your External SD card . 
  3. Go in stock recovery mode by pressing volumeUp+HomeButton+PowerButton.
  4. Select apply update.zip from options.
  5. Find the above file you downloaded and select it to flash through stock recovery. 
  6. when done then reboot and volla you have rooted your phone.
